With an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA, I've provided detailed notes for multiple screenwriters leading to drastic improvements in their work.  During my tenure at UCLA, I also taught multiple sections of "Introductory Screenwriting" where I guided students from concept to outline to draft.

In 2024, I worked as a script reader for American High Productions where I provided coverage and notes on prospective screenplays resulting in script purchases and productions.

My approach is to begin with the big picture and work inward.  I provide notes on what doesn't work (and what does!) when it comes to character, plot, theme, and pacing.  I offer suggestions and possible areas to highlight to improve.  Then, I focus on specific pages, plot points, dialogue lines, and any other moment that catches my eye as something that doesn't work (or does!).

Drama.  Horror.  Comedy.  Thriller.  Action.  Indie.  Big Budget.  Mumblecore.  Abstract.  TV Drama.  TV Comedy.  I've read them all!

Once you've received my notes, if you'd like to dig further into to the script or personally go over your notes, I offer a half-hour Zoom session as an optional add-on service.

Rates:

$1.50 per script page 

Example: 100-page script = $150.  60-page script = $90.

Minimum: $50 (any script 33 pages or less)

AT LEAST two typed pages of notes guaranteed.
